program notes

Lassajous Laborium: Spector or Spectral Host is a one time interactive performance that will demonstrate the complex experience of color through sound, taste, visual projection and smell. Our six-course evening will be full of synesthetic expressions from a diverse collaborative of artists, musicians, and chemo-sensationalists. Come challenge your cognitive reception and explore new processes of discovering sensory relationships.

Lissajous Laborium brings together a total of ten artists: two visual artists, Carmen Moreno and Daniel Lough; four musicians, Michael Miller, J. D. Wise, Brad Van Wick and Eli Hougland; one artist focused on taste, Lori Bury; one artist focused on olfactory experience, Abbi Miller; and two dancers, Abbe Findley and Dale Szafranski.
